Today we woke up to a nice blanket of smog. This was actually a good day. Look how clear it is. Nice.
This is a sick dry-fit judo shirt they had. However it costs 750 NT, or over $100 US.
This is a open viewing section for the olympics. You get security wand-ed before you can go in.
Go China.
Chinese people cheering for Chinese synchronized diving.
This guy won a gold.
We had some smoothies at Starbucks.
We couldn't get to the Olympic stadium today. It is a nut house. All the roads were closed for some reason. Then it started pouring down rain. WHich is good for tomorrow, because the air and visibility will be much more clear. So we will go tomorrow and ride the subway because we won't have a car tomorrow. Today Uncle James' driver took us around.
Instead we went to the art district in Beijing. It's pretty nice actually, a lot of modern art. But the rain was too much.
This is an eagle and nest on an invisible tree.
These are like babies.
This is like art.
On the way home through traffic I took some pictures. Tim is so sunburned.
I am Hellboy.

We went home and had some Peking Duck from apparently the most reputable restaurant for Peking duck in Beijing.
Then I fell asleep for 2 hours. I woke up and we watched Team USA play China. They estimated that over 1 billion people viewers would be tuning in, the most ever for a basketball game.
I feel like China likes Team USA more than their own team. Maybe not.
I hope you are cheering for USA in the olympics like this guy.
