Treats

Post dates for Tuesday, June 26th

Quiet peaceful day.

So today in class, we got our test back. I did fairly well. One of the test questions had to deal with heat flow, using brain freeze from ice cream as an example. Dr. Diller thought about treating us to some ice cream, but didn’t know where. So the seventeen instantly suggested Thortons, an ice cream shop in the city centre. It was settled, we would go after lunch.

Ok since breakfast this morning, my right bicep has not stopped twitching. In class and lunch like 4 hours later it's stil going. At times the muscle spasms had been so bad it's messed up my note taking. What the heck. So I wikipedia-ed twitching.

A spasm is a sudden, involuntary contraction of a muscle, a group of muscles, or a hollow organ, or a similarly sudden contraction of an orifice. It is sometimes accompanied by a sudden burst of pain, but is usually harmless and ceases after a few minutes. Spasmodic muscle contraction may also be due to a large number of medical conditions, however, including the dystonias.

I think what I has was called a Fasciculation. Nice.

A fasciculation (or "muscle twitch") is a small, local, involuntary muscle contraction (twitching) visible under the skin arising from the spontaneous discharge of a bundle of skeletal muscle fibers. Fasciculations have a variety of causes, the majority of which are benign, but can also be due to disease of the motor neurons.

Whatever it is, it won't stop. But I digress.

We all met up afterwards and Dr. Diller treated all to two scoops. It was delicious. Thank you very much Dr. Diller, we had a great time. Then we all broke off to finish up the homework that we were assigned. Garrett, Natalie Susannah, Rebecca, Clair, and I went to Waterstones, a bookstore, to study. It was very cozy.

Afterwards I went to the marketplace to buy some more stuff for people. I wish I had discovered the markets sooner instead of the retail store. I’ve been ripped off. You guys seriously owe me. I ended up spending about 90 pounds. That’s $180 dollars, on other people. S:LDKFJSD:LKGS:JFBA:LKFJAPIBHASIFQAWPOFJA”PDOFVJS”DAPOFVHSD”VP.#$@%$#!#$!%$&^%$

Then I went home and had fish and chips. For dessert, bread pudding via Karen Betson. Delicious.

Then a group of us headed over to Robin Hood Little John’s pub for some dessert and drinks. Good times. Then we went home and that is all.

Ciao,
James
