June 20th, Wednesday.

Not much happened this day of Wednesday June 20th, 2007.

Went to class, went to lunch.

Oh outside Churchill in the fields, they were having I guess an end of the school year party. They had all these things set up out side to play on. American Gladiators, bungee thing, boxing, food, and the biggest game of jenga I've ever seen.
We saw these guys and couldn't resist.Me and Garrett battled it out.
Watching from the window
It was awesome. Then Clair, Natalie, and I crashed the food line. Then ran away.

Did some homework after lunch.
Studying diligentlyPlayed hangman.
Natalie, I believe the movie is Pulp Fiction
Susannah and her heat transfer skull and cross bones.
No idea when or why this picture was taken. But Ani, Michelle, Lesley, Deepa, Bryan, and Michael.
Rode home.

Had dinner: Shepherd's pie. Compliments to Simon, the chef.

Met with Susannah, Natalie, Garrett, Rebecca, and Clair to do some homework at the park. We sat on this skateboarding half pipe.

Walking downStudy hard.

Best moment of the day. So were doing homework when we hear this random slow squeaking behind us. We turn around to see this guy wobbling around on his bike then he strays of the path and ends up in the grass. He then gets off his bike and tries to walk. But it seems like his legs are giving out under him and he keeps stumbling around. The guy can hardly walk. We think he might be hurt or having a seisure or something, so I'm watching him really closely. He almost falls over a couple times, at which point I run over to make sure he's ok.

Conversation:
Me: Sir, are you ok? Do you need any help?
Guy: Um, too much to drink. (Smiles)
Me: Uhhh... Do you need help getting home.
Guy: Store to get some cigarettes. (smiles)
Me: Alright well, be safe.

Then I walk off, but keep looking back to watch him. All of a sudden, he stops, turns then looks at me, smiles, then gives me the big thumbs up. Are you kidding me? It's 7:30. I've never seen anyone that hammered that he couldn't walk. This guy was all over the place. I almost expected him to get hit by a car. We all had a good laugh.
This was him, the drunkard.

More homework. Then the squeaking again. Our new friend made it to the store and now was coming back. His drunken stupor has not seemed to improve. This time he fell over into the grass. Multiple times.
Trying to get back upThis park is great for people watching. I would advise to not go through here at night.

We also saw an odd couple in which a man was holding hands with a woman who was also holding hands with another woman. So we tried to figure out their situation, we figured, man and wife + sister? Then the man let go and it was just the women. Awkward.

Then I went home, and was super bored. I watched Shrek 1 on tv with Simon, Karen, and Harry for a little while blogging. Then I did a whole bunch of push ups and my ab slide. Yes I did bring it, but I haven't used it in a long time. Lots of days off, sigh. Getting back into it when I get home will be hard. Christian Quinto, if you are reading this, I am taking days off. Disappointing.

Anyways, then I showered, packed for Paris, and went to bed.

Tomorrow is Paris. I'm very excited, it should be amazing. I'll try my best to keep yall posted, so keep checking back.

Au Revoir,
James

Hi James and everyone! Glad to hear the travels are going so well. The pics are great, too. I loved your discussion about Dr. Diller's expertise and Tim Pedley. When Dr. D and I went to Cambridge in Dec of 2005 to get things set up, I was standing with Dr. D and Dr. P overlooking Stephen Hawking's office as I realized I was in the presence of immense greatness. I hope you all realize that you have been learning from the world authority on heat transfer... you couldn't have a better teacher and in such a small class in the coolest city! And, he and Joann are so nice, too. Wow. Give everyone my best and once again, congrats on the most excellent blog! Hugs, Cindy
