School Day 2

Today absolutely nothing happened.

Just kidding. So I rode to school this morning with Clair and Supergirl. It was relatively uneventful.
We had another day of class with the brilliant Dr. Diller learning about conservation properties in the real world example of the Heart Lung Machine. I really am enjoying the culmination of what we have learned thus far in Biomedical engineering applied in practical examples.

After class we had lunch at Churchill College again. Dr. Diller's wife joined us.
The happy couple

Candid photo. I've been told people don't like when I take them.

Once lunch was over, we started up our homework once again.

Rebecca sleeping again.

After we finished, we headed over to King's Parade plaza to look for some Cambridge wear to bring back to the states. I saw some things that I fancied but everything is so EXPENSIVE. I saw a nice rugby shirt that costs 35 pounds and a couple of overpriced polos. This is not acceptable. I will continue my quest for more affordable clothing, but I'll end up just blowing the money away anyways. Disappointed, I headed home.

On my way back, I kicked it up a notch. Project Lance is still underway.

I can feel myself getting stronger. Well, truthfully all I feel is pain. But soon it should pay off.

This is a funny picture I found when looking for motivational pictures about overcoming pain. Nice.

Here is another one, these are great.

So anyways, by the time I got home, I was covered in sweat. But I was late for dinner, so I went straight to the table. It was an unpleasant feeling. But the dinner was good. it was sweet and sour pork with mash potatoes and carrots.

After dinner Harry and I played a little Fútbol outside.

Buster had some fun too.

The neighbor's dog got out of their house and ran away. I wish I would have taken a picture of it. I could have sworn it was a goat or something. It even made goat like sounds.

Then I went with Garrett, Laura, Kacie, and Jennifer to the Tesco so they could buy essentials that their host deprives them of. 1. Water, 2. Food, 3. Clean towels. Well, they have their own towels, but they are only allowed 1 load of laundry a week, and the washer doesn't necessarily clean everything the first time. So, they threw in the towel (pun intended) and bought some clean towels. I took theirs to my house, and tomorrow I will ask Karen if I can add their towels with my wash. Hopefully we can all hang out at my homestay :).

Afterwards we went back to their homestay for a bit. When I went to the bathroom, their host mom came out and basically told them no visitors after 10 pm. I hid in the bathroom. Then I left. Eh..
Tomorrow is more class, and then I think we are getting a tour of the Fitzwilliam museum, which houses paintings by famous artists, like Picasso.
Disclaimer: I've been told that I tend to rush people when they ride their bikes or make them feel uneasy. Lance would disapprove and thus I apologize for this.
